Prof. F. D. SikokiProfessor Francis D. Sikoki is a Professor of Fisheries and Hydrobiology in the Department of Animal and Environmental Biology University of Port Harcourt. He has served as consultant to several local and international agencies in the areas of environmental management, fisheries development and agricultural research. He is currently the National Coordinator of the Technical Cooperation Programme of the International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA.

Dr Aminanyanaba Onari AsimieaDr. Aminanyanaba Onari Asimiea is Associate Professor of Environmental Nematology in the Department of Crop and Soil Science and Director, Centre for Marine Pollution and Seafood Safety, University of Port Harcourt. He holds an M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in fisheries and Hydrobiology and Environmental Management respectively from Nigeria and a second M.Sc. degree in Applied Nematology from Belgium.  Dr Asimiea has over 25 years of experience in environmental management and has been involved in baseline studies, environmental impact assessment and environmental audits for various industries in Nigeria. These include AVEON OFFSHORE LIMITED, Dangote Group, Green View Industries (Ghana) Shell Petroleum Development Corporation (SPDC), Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC), The ENI Group (Nigeria Agip Explorations Limited, Agip Energy and Natural Resources), Exxon Mobil, Daewoo Nigeria Limited and Hyundai Heavy Industries Limited among others.  He led the team of consultants who assessed the environmental impact of the Idoho Exxon Mobil oil spill of January 1998 in four of the coastal states of Nigeria, namely, Bayelsa, Delta, Ondo and Lagos States. He has conducted extensive research on the Niger Delta Environment.
